More & more people are taking a look at the different alternative health therapy options these days. In this editorial, I write about the health benefits which using tai chi can bring. I hope you enjoy the read.

Tai chi is the most popular exercise in the world today. It is comparatively new to the western world but is becoming increasingly popular. The thousand year elderly Chinese martial art is simple to do & has plenty of benefits.

I have been attending tai chi classes for around a year now & it's massively helped me to control my anxiety & stress levels. Stress has been a giant factor in my life & I have always struggled to think in a positive way. I now try plenty of alternative treatments to manage my stress including meditation & tai chi. Both work well for me.

I was one time introduced to tai chi by a mate. I must say that I did not know much about it before this. They told me that it had helped him no finish in controlling his depression. His name is John & they has plenty of issues in his life which not only affect his self-confidence but also makes him depressed sometimes. John has been attending tai chi classes for  years & has seemingly become a brand new man. For whatever reason they did not tell people about what they was doing. On a night out I mentioned to him that they had been a lot happier in the recent months. This is when they talked to me about tai chi. They also asked if I would like to attend the classes with him, which I duly agreed to. I am glad that they had this conversation as I can also basically spiral in to a state of depression.

People have also mentioned that I look far healthier & even that I look more youthful than before. This is meant to be another benefit of tai chi, it helps to delay the aging process. This is lovely for someone like me as people always thought that I was one time around years older than I actually was.

It could be a piece of mind thing as I do know that I will be attending a tai chi one time a week, but I am now able to deal with stress & am far less anxious than I ever was one time.
